Revealing the Growing Block Universe
Revealing the Growing Block Universe
The mystery is defined in: THE GROWING BLOCK UNIVERSE AND LIFE
The theory of the Growing Block Universe (GBU) maintains that everything that ever occurred in the history of the universe is still all there, frozen just as it occurred in higher dimensions of time and space. Moment by moment, the present continually adds to the total volume of the GBU like a multidimensional video camera that records and stores everything that occurs in a never-ending reel. In other words, the past is all there in the great blocks of time, but we just can’t physically reach back into it.
Is this science fantasy? The presence of the Growing Block Universe is revealed in the living world's omnipresent temporal structures. Living creatures are four-dimensional in every sense. The GBU answers a profound mystery of the living world that science's "theory of emergence" resolutely ignores. The famous physicist, Erwin Schrodinger in the classic inquiry, What is Life? was totally perplexed at the rigidly structured molecular motion that animates every living creature. Over millions of years, identical, fantastically complex patterns of force and form reappear to produce the body and behaviors of each species. Might, as some suggest, these inordinately complex patterns quite literally emerge from the past? Do these four-dimensional patterns of force and form held in block time have a nonlinear connection with the present moment to structure the molecular dynamic of each living creature?
Why GBU? Of the four physical forces acknowledged by science, only the electromagnetic force is available to explain molecular interactions and therefore the process of life. Atoms are tiny balls of electromagnetic force. In the nonliving world, the properties of the electromagnetic force readily explain why molecular reactions tend toward stronger bonds, simpler structures, and a state of timelessness in equilibrium. By itself, the electromagnetic force between molecules provides no rigidly recurring global organization to perpetually direct watery molecules into highly complex four-dimensional dynamics and architectures.
Upon entering a living organism, the behaviors of the atoms’ balls of electromagnetic force suddenly become diametrically different. This is what so perplexed Erwin Schrodinger. Once molecules cross the boundary of a cell’s membrane, they lose all the randomness that pervades the nonliving world. The fate of each molecule becomes guaranteed. Within plants and animals, molecular interactions that are mere possibilities in the nonliving world now become a continuous stream of absolute certainties. The molecular dynamic within an egg cell’s microscopic mass holding one set of chromosomes is guaranteed to expand into the immense, four-dimensional molecular dynamic of an adult organism be it a whale, baboon, baobab, bee, or butterfly..
What orchestrates life's astronomic expansion of four-dimensional forces? What globally structures molecular motion to create and operate a creature's massive anatomical systems? What shields molecules from random interactions with each other until they reach precise points in space where they interact with the mechanical precision of a fantastic assembly line? What is the Master Clock that defines the living world?

Memory and Mind Emerging from the Growing Block Universe.
What great mysteries of Mind and Memory does modern science ignore? Why does DNA fail to explain our mind's multidimensional complexity? What holds birds and bees' extraordinary innate behaviors? To find cohesive answers, we turn to modern physics' theory of the Growing Block Universe which holds the entirety of the past. (click image)
